UI Cheats Extension version history

The mod version is the one the author assigns, written v1.59.1. The game version is the Sims 4 patch that release was built against, written 1.127.41. They are unrelated numbering schemes that happen to look alike.

The author's statement about the current line is specific: v1.59 is built with game version 1.127.41 and will not work for older versions of the game. Read every other row the same way. The game version column names the patch the author had in front of him, not a range the release supports.

13 of the 85 rows have no game version against them. Most are small fixes shipped soon after the release above, where the author did not record a new number, so treat those as belonging to the game version of the nearest release below them. The rest are from the mod's first two years, before he noted the game version at all.

Installing an older mod release to match an older game patch will not help, because you cannot choose which Sims 4 patch you are on. Update the game, install the newest mod release, and delete the old files rather than renaming them.

The entries from v1.40 onwards come from the current Patreon post. Everything older comes from the author's changelog site, which the post links to as the archive for 2015 to 2023. Both are his own writing, shortened here to one sentence per change.

Those three are the exceptions, not the rhythm. Since the start of 2024 the typical gap has been 42 days and the longest 91 days, which is the figure to plan around.

The mod has had 85 releases between 30 June 2015 and 27 August 2026, a little over eleven years of continuous updates. In 2026 alone there have been 9. Counted by year:

• 2022: 6 releases
• 2021: 9 releases

Nobody publishes a list of which patch broke what, and we will not guess at one. Most releases follow a game patch, and since 2024 the pattern has been roughly one mod release per significant Sims 4 update. Some guides say new builds appear within a day or two of a patch; we cannot confirm that window from the author, though the dates fit a fast turnaround, as v1.59.1 followed v1.59 the next day.

A separate frozen build for Legacy Edition, for 32-bit PC players and non-Metal Macs. The Mod The Sims listing reports game version 1.58.63 and was last updated on 17 August 2022, so it has none of the newer features.

That listing has been downloaded 3,158,516 times, read on 22 September 2026. It tells you how many people still run Legacy Edition rather than anything about the build being current.

weerbesu does not publish a new Patreon post for each version. He edits the same post in place, which is why its address still reads v1-59 and why the attachment on it is always the current zip. The post first went up on 20 April 2019 and was last edited on 27 August 2026, the day v1.59.1 shipped.

His page reported 86,551 members on 22 September 2026, of whom 1,970 pay, so most people there are following rather than pledging. The mod has been published there since June 2015.
