Set an exact balance
money 145897leaves the household with exactly 145,897.- It sets the total, so a lower number takes Simoleons away.
- Type digits only, without commas, decimals or §.
Why one guide says money adds to your funds
EA's cheats FAQ says plainly that money 145897 makes household funds 145,897 exactly, and that is the wording this page follows. One secondary guide describes the command as adding to the balance instead.
You will also see sims.modify_funds, which players use to add or subtract an amount. It is not in EA's FAQ or in the major guides checked for this page, so treat it as unconfirmed. If nothing happens, go back to money or motherlode.

Money cheats and achievements
What EA puts in writing
EA names Build mode cheats as the group that keeps achievements alive, and does not spell the same exemption out for money cheats. If trophies matter to you, make a second save before your first testingcheats true and cheat only in that one.

What the mod does not replace
FreeRealEstate and the autopay bills cheat have nothing on screen to click, so they stay typed commands. The install guide covers the setup, and every UI Cheats feature lists the other panels the mod touches.

How do you get more Simoleons in The Sims 4?
Open the cheat console, type motherlode and press Enter. The household you are playing gains §50,000, and you can run it again as often as you like.
Does motherlode need testingcheats true?
No. EA lists money cheats and Build mode cheats as the two groups that work whether or not the master switch is on.
Do money cheats disable achievements on console?
EA's rule is that cheats needing testingcheats true disable Achievements and Trophies for that save. Money cheats do not need it.
