Mac keys, and which Sim it acts on
EA's cheats FAQ gives Ctrl + Shift + C for PC and Mac alike, while SnootySims and Sims Community both give Command + Shift + C. Try one and fall back to the other.
Everything starting aspirations., sims. or traits. depends on that switch, and every one acts on the Sim you have selected. The milestone command only touches the aspiration that Sim is currently working through, so switch them over first.

The aspiration commands
Aspiration and satisfaction commands
Two commands cover the whole aspiration panel: one finishes the milestone you are on, the other pays you the points.

Names that look nothing like the reward
Companion is EternalBond, Domestic is FamilySim, Handy is TheKnack, Poetic is EpicPoet, Professorial is Chronicler, Shrewd is Invested, Thrifty is ValuedCustomer, Tormentor is Bane and Naturalist is OneWithNature.
Worldly Knowledge from Snowy Escape is the one to watch: one guide spells it trait_wordlyknowledge and another Trait_WorldlyKnowledge. The missing letter reads like a typo, but it may be the game's own, so try both.
Adventure Awaits adds Childhood Inspiration reward traits following the pattern trait_Reward_ChildhoodInspiration_<Name>. Only one guide lists the individual names, so they are not in the table. That guide puts them at 100 satisfaction points each, cheap enough that granting the points beats hunting for the code.
Console and achievements
What EA puts in writing
EA documents the achievement rule for consoles only. Nothing in the sources behind this page describes a matching penalty on PC or Mac. No command turns trophy progress back on, so make a second save before your first testingcheats true if trophies matter to you.

- Right-click a goal to fulfil it.
- Right-click the Soul's Journey meter to pick a rank.
- Soul's Journey needs Life and Death.

- Right-click a reward to unlock it.
- No internal name to look up.
- Windows and Mac only, never console.
Why the points command still matters
Fulfilling a goal hands over its normal reward, and secondary guides describe that as earning the satisfaction points you would otherwise grind for. The author's own feature list names no separate cheat that sets a points total, so sims.give_satisfaction_points is still the dependable way to land on a specific number.
One more click sits close to this: right-click the confirm button in Create a Sim and the mod randomises a Sim's name, traits and aspiration. The mod is PC and Mac only and has to match your game version. The install guide covers the setup.
Frequently asked questions
How do you finish a whole aspiration?
Enter aspirations.complete_current_milestone once per milestone. Press the up arrow and Enter to repeat it until the aspiration is done.
How many satisfaction points can you give?
Put the number after the command: sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000. Spend them in the Rewards Store like any others.
Can you get a reward trait for free?
Yes. traits.equip_trait <trait> hands it over and ignores the price. Swap in traits.remove_trait to take it back.
Is there a cheat to change a Sim's aspiration?
No console command in the sources behind this page swaps it. On PC and Mac, UI Cheats can randomise traits and aspiration from the confirm button in Create a Sim.
Do aspiration cheats work on Xbox and PlayStation?
Yes, in the same console. They need testingcheats true, so they disable Achievements and Trophies for that save.
