Sims 4 Horse Ranch cheats

A horse's own skills need the horse's identifier on the end. The rider's two skills go on the Sim and take no identifier.

Find a horse's ID
Print the number
Type
sims.get_sim_id_by_nameand the horse's first and last name. The console prints a long number.
Put it on the end
stats.set_skill_level Horse_Agility 10and then that number. The bar fills at once.
If the console gives you nothing back
- Horses have first and last names like any Sim. Check the spelling in Simology.
- The command is
stats.set_skill_level.sims.set_skill_leveldoes not exist, and it is the most common typo in circulated lists. - Cheats have to be on before the identifier command will print anything.

Rider skills and horse skills
Horse traits, and the ages with no published command
No horse personality trait token is corroborated by two sources, so none is published here. Use full edit mode and change the horse in Create a Sim instead, which also lets you redo its looks.
There is no confirmed Equestrian token for a child or a teen either. The two Sim-side skills on this page are written for an adult, which is what every source publishes.

Fill or freeze a horse's needs
A horse is an animal, so it uses the same shift-click menu as a cat or a dog.

- Right-click a skill bar and pick a level.
- Reported to cover horse skills. No ID needed.
Why this page under-claims the mod
The official feature list says the Sim Profile skill-bar right-click has covered pet skills since v1.37. Horses are animals with skill bars, so the same control is reported to work on them, but nobody has documented it in those words.
The typed commands above work either way. Every UI Cheats feature lists the panels the mod is documented to touch.

Why does sims.set_skill_level do nothing?
Because that command does not exist. The working one is stats.set_skill_level, and the typo is common in circulated lists.
Can the UI Cheats Extension set horse skills?
It is reported to. The mod’s own feature list says pet skills rather than horse skills, and horses are animals with skill bars, so right-clicking the bar in the Sim Profile panel is worth trying before you go near an identifier. The mod is PC and Mac only.
